“Rome” IS Coming Back!

Jan 27 2006 Published by Ted under tv

Rome, my favorite show on HBO will be coming back.  There was some talk a while ago about whether or not they’d be renewing the show for more seasons.  I have a customer who works for HBO and she let me know that she’s working on the production staff of the show.

This makes me very very VERY happy as it is, by far, the best show that HBO has in its schedule at the present time.  And, yes, I think it’s better than the Sopranos.

Why didn’t anyone tell me how good this show is?  Why am I just now watching it after four seasons have passed?

Why didn’t I listen to Tom when he told me it was good, like, three years ago?

Colbert

Start watching the Colbert Report right now.  Today.  Can’t stay up to watch something at 11:30?  Set your VCR/TiVO/PVR or whatever and WATCH THIS SHOW!  I laughed so hard at last night’s permiere episode, Jen got mad at me ’cause she thought I was going to wake up CJ.  Don’t believe me?  Want to see a clip?  Click here.

Or, you could just take me for my word and watch it.  You’ll laugh, I can feel it in my gut.

RIP James “Mr Scott” Doohan

I was a huge fan of his character on Star Trek, he was by far my favorite character of any series.  I think Wil Wheaton said it best when he said: "Everyone who watched Star Trek liked Scotty, but everyone who met him loved Jimmy . . . I’m sure I’m not the only person today who feels like they lost a friend."
